Mickey Mouse Type Pod 52mm??

Hey guys,

I am just wondering if anyone is aware of the existence of a 52mm gauge pod that goes over the original cowl. I am looking for something to put an AEM Wideband and an AEM Tru-Boost in (I don't know what size the Tru-boost is if someone could help me with that it would be nice).

The problem is when I am driving seriously I have both hands on the wheel and I don't think I would be able to see a center speaker mounted pod. Any help?

Thanks,

Alex

That is exactly what I am talking about thanks. Except the Carbon Fiber throws it way off my price range, I know that Evo-R was making a 60mm in Plastic but anyone else?

Thanks,

Alex

Um, the center speaker pod is easily visible in any reasonable condition.....don't see what driving with two hands on the wheel has to do with anything

agreed, if anything the mickey mouse pods would become less visible with your hands on the wheel (in the proper locations at least), not the speaker pods. Also I did see an evo-r one with 52mm pods on ebay, WAY more affordable than $500, corksport is ******* outrageous!!! Hell i'd get the 60mm evo-r pod and get some kind of adapter before paying that kind of money.

The way I sit in the car I could see the "Mickey" gauges perfectly and they are in my sight meaning I could check them anytime. My right arm blocks the center in my seating position.

I have a friend with the a carbon fiber mickey set and it looks great.

do you drive with your elbow pointed towards the roof or something? , i'm sorry but I just don't see how you can block the line of sight to a center speaker pod, short of really positioning yourself in an odd manner. I will agree the mickey mouse pods are right in your face, but honeslty the speaker pods don't require you to take your attention away from straight ahead, it's a slight glance away.

But ya like I said i've seen 52mm mickey mouse pods on ebay before, a couple times, at the very worst just get one of the 60mm ones and modify it to fit 52mm. Defnitly more worthile than $450 dollars, that is so outrageous.

Agree....unless you are a mutant, I can't see how in the hell your arm would block your line of sight. Perhaps stop driving around in the "ghetto position"? :

I beleive the afermention "ghetto position" is with the left arm.

Be 5'7.5 and have short arms. I dunno. I sit upright not leaned back.

So many haters.... Anyways, I do not think it would be that difficult to modify the 60mm pod. Little bit of fiberglass work and some paint and you should be good to go. That is only if you couldn't find the 52mm's on ebay or elsewhere. I checked a second ago for you and didn't come up with any. Good luck on the search.

Dude, I'm barely 5'7" and have short legs....I also sit upright and closer to the wheel than most. Not even a hint of vision problems to the center....like I said you must be a mutant. :
