Brandom,
My condolences for you.(I really dont know how to say)
Because if it was my father i would be NUTS now.
I am from the ClubWRX.net and i was very impressed when i read your post..
Anyway, i think its a good way to teach everybody a lesson.
Imagine if it was you driving??
You would feel horrible and guilty for the rest of your life.
That teachs us the lesson that Car is a weapon and we have to be responsible with it.
If we want to race,,go to a track and do it..Do it safe.
This post can give us the KEY to a good future..
Cars are weapons and Please,,everybody take care..
Hope this thread can show many people that Car is not a Toy..
Thanks
Tuca

thank you for sharing your story. i hope to God that many will be moved by it as i have.

i crashed my first Z around thanksgiving 2001. i am deeply grieved to say that once again it took a message as clear as yours to remind me how much more thankful to God i need to be today and for each possible day.

my deepest condolences and gratitude.

Oh man, that story nearly brought tears to my eyes. You have my deepest condolances. I got linked here from the MR2 board, where we've had an abhorant number of wrecked cars, including multiple rollovers and flips, but fortunately no serious injuries or fatalities. I cant imagine what you're going through.

Drive safe everybody, dont push it where there is high risk of wrecking. Save the handling tests for the track.

I've been putting off joining the forum for a while, but decided to after reading your story. Not knowing my own father, I cant say I understand what you are going through, but I can say he is the type of man that I wish my own father was, and that my heart is with you man.

There's not much I can say that hasn't been said, but your dad sounds like be was a great man that loved you very much, and a man we should all be proud of. Remeber what he taught you, and stay strong bro.

RIP Mr. Wayne

My sincerest condolences,

Jordan C.

My dad died about a week and a half ago. Like yours, he was 50 years young. Died of natural causes because he ate too much greasy food. I'm only 17, and my mom has been sheltered, so now we are struggling to make ends meet. I feel for ya man.

Im really sorry about your loss. I lost my father to cancer when i was 7. It was a hard thing to go through. You have to remember that everyone dies for a reason. Maybe the reason he passed on was to help you and hopefully everyone else on this forum drive safer and be more carefull. I know it is hard for you right now but just stay strong and you will get through it. Just hang in there man and you can get through it. I hope what i have wrote and what everyone else has wrote will help you out.

Chris

Yeh, I'm still around. I didn't know anyone had brought these threads back to life. I have a '94 Supra TT right now, but I still browse these forums every now and then because sooner or later I'll own another FD. I just couldn't bring myself to buy another FD right after so I got the Supra instead. I truly appreciate everything that's been said. THANK YOU!

Very interesting how an old thread like this gets brought back, and by another forum to boot. This was one of two fatal FD accidents that weekend. I remember this because I also had an accident that weekend, but mine was not fatal. Made me realize just how luck I really was. Let's remember these unfortunate people when we are in are cars and letting things get a little "too fun". Don't let their deaths be in vain. Drive safe guys.

Sorry to hear about that. I also lost my father too a couple of years back. Remember to be strong and make him proud because he is somewhere up there looking over you
