Sorry for your lost Brandon.
This is the harsh reality that reminds us and ALL drivers to be careful and so ever watchful when driving.
Stay strong.
My condolences.

Brandon,
Sorry to hear of your lost. I ask that you keep your head up and think of the happy times with your father. I'm sure your father would do the same for you. Be STRONG as your family will need you now more then ever. God Bless and my prayers are with you Brandon ..... Tony

I submit the suggestion (like suggested in the other recent, tragic thread) to the mod/admins that we sticky this as a tribute to your father, and to serve as a reminder to ALL - old and young, experienced and unexperienced drivers - to be careful. Godspeed Mr. Rushing.

I can hardly look at this thread without breakin into tears. My brother died from injuries sustained in a car accident 5 years ago. There is nothing I can say to lessen your pain. Just live your life the way you know he would have wanted you to. Be proud of him, and make him proud of you.

I'm sorry about what happened. It sucks how one minute, everything is fine - one second later, your life can change dramatically. This could have happened to any one of us and our dad. I'm sorry it happened to you. It's a long raod to healing, but I really appreciate your story - I'm sure it really made all of us think twice about what we do on the street. Take care, Barry

Brandon, you are truly noble and courageous to care to share your tragedy with us, especially under the trying (and ironic) circumstances. Your father should be proud, and I know he is.

Right now, there is no way I can go through another whole thread about that... just 2 days ago I learned about the loss of our buddy Jesse, only 18, from our canadian part of the club, and now this...
I mean, I can't even start to tell you how sad I am right now, having lost my dad when I was younger, I can also relate to your situation.
This so so horrible... I do have tears in my eyes right now... how is it possible... 2 in 3 days...
I am so deeply sorry for you, I offer my condolences to you and your family but also my support if needed.
Hang in there...
GodSpeed (once more....)

Brandon, it sounds like your father's last act was saving your life. From your descriptions, I am sure he was a great man and a great father. It sounds like you've got a good head on your shoulders, and I am sure your dad would be proud of you. Thanks for sharing your story, even if it did make me cry. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry man.
Just remember. Keep being strong. Don't let a tragedy like this take you down the emotional drain hole. No matter HOW difficult it may seem. If you believe in the after life, then I'm sure you know he continues to want you to be your best, and he will always be by your side, even if he is not physically there.

I'm so sorry for your loss. He sounds like he was a wonderful man, and a noble father. Your courage and strength thru this time are a reflection of that.
My deepest condolences for you and your family, and my prayers are with you.
Remeber, the only pain we carry with us in life, is the love we hold back.

I'm very sorry for you, Brandon. I really don't know what to say... I got tears in my eyes from this, and I don't even know you. Really, all I can say now is that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family...
Please guys let us at least learn from this. Cars are great things, but no toys. I always try to be a safe driver, but me too get carried away sometimes... I'm sure going to drive a lot slower when I get into my car bit later on...

There are many things in life more wonderful than cars, and the love of a father is certainly one of them. Thank you for reminding all of us of that. I offer my condolences and respect both to you and your family.
