I've also lost my mother in a car accident about 10 years ago.. and only thing that really heal the wound is time.. Good luck and he will always be with you with your memories.

I too have just read this thread for I don't come to the FD section much.
I hope you and your family are doing well. I was really moved by your story and it would be hard to imagine the anguish you went through. Best of luck.

Wow, I can't even imagine what that must have been like. I don't think I would have been able to post about it the next day, that's for sure. I kind of think this thread should be linked to in the newbie sticky to remind all those inexperienced drivers who want to buy an FD just how dangerous it is, even in experienced hands.
I didn't realize till someone above said that this was an older thread, then I looked at the dates like a dumbace still a shock though and sad story too. But definetly a good way to show people the 7 or any other car for that matter and the driver is not invincible, as much as we would like to believe the 7 is.

I remember this thread like it was yesterday. This is probably the only thread over the years that REALLY stuck with me. I actually still think about this thread and this story. It really made a big impression on me.
I hope your doing better and I know your father must be watching over you

Brandon, I was not posting here when your tradgedy occured, but that does not lessen the impact of this thread. First of all, my condolences on your loss--I understand time will never fully heal this wound. Second of all, although I am sad this happened at all, I am glad I came upon your story, and I appreciate you sharing at what was probably the worst moment of your life. I feel this way because it is a lesson to be remembered and acted upon by all of us who like to drive vehicles to the edge. The Danny Heatley--Dan Snyder thing was a similar wake up call for me.
God bless and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry about your loss brandon. I feel terrible knowing you lost someone you considered a best friend, dad, and a wonderful person. I know your pain seeing as I too lost a best friend, and another. Keep your head up, life gets better bro. Only in time.
