Isn't this unit %10 stronger than stock??? Why would anyone go with it instead of using the RE Amemiya PPF which is supposedly %20 stronger than stock?! Check into it atleast...

I'd imagine the RE Amemiya PPF is drastically higher priced than the mazdaspeed.

They are the same weight. I don't know if there's any ID marks on the piece.

I know that there are differences between the two pieces. However, the difference is not worth the price. I have seen FD's that dyno'd at over 450 rwhp with the MazdaSpeed PPF and COULDN'T break it on the drag stip. I have no reason to suggest that the RE unit is any better. There are not that many FD's out there that can put down those kinds of HP numbers and still launch as hard as the ones that I have seen. With the exception of Vosko of course. He is a legend, and one that is well deserved. Laterz.

IIRC, Steve Kan is still on his first Mazdaspeed PPF. He's destroyed numerous stockers, though
