Mazda speed replacement trailing arm bushing
Has anyone used this bushing? If so how about a report on how they worked out?
I am going thru the suspension on my street driven 93 R1 replacing worn bushings (I have replaced the 6 pillow ball bushing and the toe link bushings) and I would like to replace my old trailing arm bushings with a set of these. But I can not buy a set because I am not a member of mazda speed motorsports, and since I do not race, I can’t join.
If a mazda speed member would buy a set of these for me, I would pay them a reasonable profit, say 25%.
Thanks,
Mike Parsons

I looked at the parts book, it seems that the front bushing of the trailing arm is not availabe as replacement part. They come together with the trailing arm as replacement.
But, I saw that jimlab did his own custom bushing for this. So it can be replaced.
Now, looking at mazdamotorsports, I found that this is possible bushing for it.
F128-28-52Y $47.30
I attached Mazdamotorsports photos.

http://www.japanparts.com I believe has some bushings. I don't know about trailing arm. I'm sure there are other sources.

This is against Mazda Motorsports policy and a member doing will have his priveleges revoked. All you have to do to become a member is attend 2 local autocrosses and send in the results. They don't care how well you do, only that you participate.

Gottcha. Does it matter if you are driving the mazda or not? currently the rear suspension is off the car, and i would like to put the new trailing arm bushings in before i reassemble & have it aligned.
Thanks,
Mike
