Mazda side skirts

Mazda offered a factory set of side skirts for the cars in Japan, does anyone know the actual part numbers the dealer would use. I want to see if the local Mazda dealer in town can order them. i know Japanparts.com can get them but I can get a discount through my dealer. Thanks

THE PART NUMBERS ARE: FDO1-51-9B0B, AND FD01-51-9C0B. THEY ARE VERY EXPENSIVE PIECES OF PLASTIC. $197.05 EACH.

Whoa, that's got to be something different.
What do the factory ones look like? Now I'm curious to see what they are. Anyone have any pics?

Where's the remakes when you need them? Save some money...seriously! I've seen some bodykit remakes based off of OEM/JDM kits and it's impressively 50% cheaper sometimes. I know the quality may be cheaper..but who's gonna' know?

The "OEM" side spoilers are still available, they are approx 18" long and fit on the rear section of the rocker panel. they are made of black textured plastic. it appears MAZDA put them on several of the early 93 FD's. my 93 was produced in feb-92 it has them. they must be rather rare because I have mentioned them several times on the forum and most people dont know what I am talking about. those are the correct part numbers and yes! they do cost $197.05 each. mouse!!

The j-spec sideskirts, flybye has them as well but he got a sweet deal on his.

Don't ask me what mouse is talking about but he's not talking about the sideskirts pictured.

I think mud guards and side skirts are being confused in this thread. The $190 (+ or - a few bucks) is the price I've always seen for the mud guards:

I have yet to see the side skirts for less than $1300:

Yeah, $1300 is WAY too much for side skirts.

That depends. You'll have to remember that there are quite a few FD owners that have had there cars a LOT longer than just a year (there are some who bought their cars new back in 93-95). There are also owners who probably have everything done to their car that they want (as far as performance mods) so a set of nice side skirts would be well worth it to them (and the OEM side skirts are probably one of not the best looking set for the FD to get).

So is it me or does the Mazda factory side skirts look like they come in 2 pieces for each side? It looks like a piece near the side vents, and then another whole piece from the front door line down the rest of the side body??

-Dan

So if those are the sides, where is the front and rear?

The front bumper is D-Speed and has been modified a little I believe. The whole car is Sokudo's.
