Mazadatrix pilot bearing installation tool has no spacer to leave room for the seal?

 

That sucks. But if you have the capability to be in such position to replace the pilot bearing then you most definitely have a socket and hammer to gently tap the bearing in enough to get the pilot seal in there. This shouldn't ruin anything your just tapping it in, just tap it in..

 

Yea..... its not too good for its home ball seal

 

Try putting the OLD seal upside down on the tool and tapping in the bearing. If that doesn’t work and you have the old bearing, use it to tap in the new bearing in enough for the seal. I’ve used the flat head of my body-hammer using progressively harder taps until it moves.
