Maybe a stupid question but.....

So this may be a stupid question but I'm brand new to the RX7. So I have a 1992 FD Enfini (I'm in Japan) but my question is all the parts I seem to be looking up are for 93+ and its saying that up to 92 is a 1st gen so I'm a little confused. Can someone clarify this for me. i.e HKS RS intake for 93+, so will this fit my 92 FD? Again sorry if this is a stupid question guess you gotta start somewhere right?

Mazda started building the FD3S chassis, 12/28/91 for the US models, i think earlier for the JDM models. the trivia bit is that there were no 1993 model cars actually built in 1993.

in Japan they were sold as 1992 cars because it was 1992

Right, I have a silver FD that was actually made 1991 December to back that
However if I am not mistaken, the 92-93 have a different roof and hatch curvature from the 94+ which cause the roof spoliers to not fit sometimes.

Other than that, I do not think there is anything else I have noticed.
