The boost restrictor/pills are in the lines between the primary turbo compressor elbow and the wastegate and precontrol actuators. These are the same lines where you can install a boost controller.

are there OEM part numbers for these? or are the holley carb jets easier to get?
in NZ it doesn't seem that the Holley parts are going to be that easy!

does anyone have a pic? maybe i have them in the garage!

then i have a problem because i closed the boost controllers all the way and i still boost 12psi well, spike 12psi and sometimes a loud stutter, and stall, from the exhaust happens does anyone know what that might be, my FD is automatic.

What type of controllers do you have? Needle valve MBC, ball/spring MBC, or electronic?

I'm guessing needle valve from your comments.

What other modifications (intake, intercooler, exhaust, etc.) do you have?

The stutter is probably fuel cut from the overboost. Closing a needle valve will raise the boost, just like blocking off the pill opening. Opening the valve will lower boost.

What do you mean by "closing?" Screwing in the adjuster (clockwise) puts more tension on the spring, lowering the pressure the actuators see, and thus raising the boost.

IIRC (I don't use this brand, I have a home-made ball-spring MBC), the Hallmans can come with various springs, some of which may not let you back off all the way.

However, with your mods, (pettit intake,3" downpipe, midpipe, and racing beat exhaust) ,you are probably having boost creep (the WG can't handle the flow). Typically having a nearly open exhaust will cause this.

You may need to restrict the exhaust and/or port the WG to control boost with DP, MP, and less restrictive exhaust.

Good luck with porting, etc. Just be careful with your boost. Don't become one of the "I just blew my apex seal" threads!

Ihave no experience with porting, etc., since with my mods I don't need it.

Run a search for 'boost creep' and 'port wastegate'. You'll find plenty of info, especially if you sort for oldest threads first.
