max rpm

so in about six months my si will be payed off, and i just cant wait to get back into a rx7. my experience is mostly with fc's but i truly want a fd, so i m just ganna start my reviewing now on engine specs.
one of the questions i have, and cant seem to find in searchs, is whats the max rpm you can squeez out of a stock engine, a rebuilt engine (we shall saw with atkins seals), and then a hella built built engine. when the time comes i will not be holding back on this build i wanna see 12k but idk what the RE's limits are for rpm.

on a stock motor, it's redline is around 7800 RPM.

if you're looking to go to 12k i hope you have the cash to get the rotating assembly dynamically balanaced, dowell pinned and all other supporting mods

nothing is cheap with these cars if you want it done right, but what's the need for 12K RPM?

If your not a complete and utter retard you would have found my post to be quite useful. You say you owned a TII which is almost the same as the FD 13B and don't even know how to rev the damn thing? Then you come on here and spell almost every word wrong and put a billion exclamation points after everything. Its not "hella cool", it just proves your to immature and apparently to senseless to own let alone drive an FD. So stick to the hondas and leave the 7s for the big boys.

There was a valid question asked, why do you want to see 12k rpm? The engine isnt going to make power there without porting specifically designed for it, and as mentioned you would need balancing and internal modifications so that everything would stay together at that rpm. Theres just no need for it, and noone builds engines like that. In certain N/A applications Ive seen 2-rotors hitting ~10k, but not much more. Maybe "93rx74lyfe" came off a bit harsh, but without sounding offensive you do come off a bit childish asking such a questions and using terms like "hella built built engine". We're all adults here..

yes, im 12 and just learned how to **********.

WTF do rev's and asking whats the max rpm is out of the engine have in common ?
sorry we didnt all come walking out of our mothers vagina knowing everything about an rx7 instantaneously (big word for a 12year old). its been about 3 years since i had my T2. Sorry i forgot some things.
so do me a favor and go play with your "big boys" how ever that maybe and let me learn something.

You can rev them out to 8500-9000rpm (it's got a 9000rpm tach just like an s5 nonturbo). But the power falls off by 6500rpm on stock turbos and stock ports. Even most single turbo builds stop making additional power after 7500-8000rpm.
