Somehow the vacuum line/hose and check valve got loose, drop off and got lost. I installed a new silicone hose with check valve to MAP, but I can't find where to connect to???.

 

It goes to the back of the UIM, to the right (if looking at the back of the UIM) and lower than the TPS. There is a single nipple there.

The reason I could not find the UIM connection, is the old hose was still connected, and the check valve and hose to MAP was hanging down towards the tranny. Easy fix.

 

FYI that is NOT a check valve in the vacuum line, that's a filter. Do NOT install a check valve in that line, the MAP sensor will only see vacuum or boost depending on the orientation of the valve and the car won't run right.

Replace the stock line with 3.5mm silicone and use the stock filter, it won't come off without a lot of effort and you'll have a happy car.

IIRC, the filter also functions as a mild pulsation damper which is good in 2 regards - giving a steady signal to the ECU, and protecting the sensor from vibration/fatigue.
