Make this engine bay look better

How can I make this engine bay look better? The car performs great so really don’t wanna mess with it much but need to clean it up under here.

Change all those red hoses and couplers to black and they will blend better.

Well, the first thing you could do is get us a better picture so we can see what's in there without squinting.
Seriously though, there are a lot of little things you can do which are minimally invasive.
-Make all those couplings the same color
-Route your BOV hose so you don't have to use so many visible zip-ties
-See if you can extend the front wire connectors so you don't have to drape them over the radiator, or make a shroud of some kind to cover that area up. Seems like a good idea for airflow anyways given the large gap in front of the rad.
-There are a lot of nice little dress-up / de-cluttering items sold by vendors (JP3 has a very nice short throttle cable as well as brake booster line relocation kit)

But I mean, it also depends on what your idea of what "better" looks like. Do you want it less blingy? Or more?

i remember reading about this stuff in Hot Rod magazine 10,000 years ago, this guy https://www.motortrend.com/news/scot...reet-machines/

the idea was that you want to focus the viewers attention on the cool stuff.

your car has all the attention focused on the hoses and all this orange crap running all over the place, essentially you're saying the throttle cable is the coolest thing in the engine bay.

Makes sense it’s been awhile since I’ve done anything to the car and now that my other project is done I can refocus on this girl.

it would be really easy to sharpen that thing up. some black vacuum hose and a can of black paint, and it would be really awesome

I'd lose the orange stuff and clean up/get some ducting for that radiator. Bling is one thing, but overheating really sucks.

Swap to a V-Mount maybe?

To me, the biggest improvement would be to move the air filter so it isn't sucking hot air that has power thru the radiator.

Greddy vmount comes with heat shielding that sits between condenser and filter. And i also added a piece of abs plastic on top of that.
but i do plan on making a custom box for the intake.

What??
I feel that front mounts with no ducting on an FD are all show and no better than a good SMIC like an M2, and I'm sharing that experience with a member that asked. .

Is there a problem with that? How do YOU really feel?
