Major Problems
Last night I was driving my Fd and the second turbo wouldn't kick in. When was was on the highway I would push it little bit and the RPM would be at 5,000 and I would hit the gas and it wouldn't go it felt like the gas pedal was pushing my foot off and the check engine light flashed and went away. I dont know if it is a fuel cut.. But I did smell under the hood. The second turbo will not spool at all and I get full boost out of the primary

not usre exactly but it's easy to find here. also do a search on how to read what code it is. There will be a series of flashes, long and short and you then can determine what the problem is. again do a search it's not hard to find. good luck

Take a paper clip and jump TEN and GND. Then go inside your car, and count the flashes.
LONG flashes = 10
SHORT flashes = 1
Be careful not to mix up each individual code with the repetition of the codes themselves. A code can be like a 40 or something so watch carefully.

But ill help you out this time.

SO After I jump them Than i turn the key in the ON position than i count how many fast flashes and slow flashes and i total them up and that will be the code?? and when do i stop counting...when the light stops flashing?

You might have to cycle the entire thing a couple times to get all the codes down (if you have multiple) because its hard to determine the repetition and each code itself.
And yes you have to put the key to ON.
Just count all the flashes and jot them down, thats the easy step.
When you see a repetition going, you know its starting over again.

Yep. Code 13 - Pressure Sensor. It is the little black box on the firewall, located to the left of the brake booster. Check to make sure the hose didn't pop off on the underside and make sure the other end of the hose is connected at the manifold. It's possible the sensor has gone bad. To check the sensor, look at pages F-33 and F-181 in the '93 workshop manual.

Yup, def a code 13. You did the right thing in cycling the code over and over. Cause you have to sure before you start furthering your diagnosing and/or replacing parts.
I never knew the pressure sensor can actually go "bad". Normally the hose just pops off and you put it back with a ziptie. But i think IIRC, 2nd gen people ground their pressure sensors? Im not sure about this but i remember reading something about that back in the day.
OR you can just replace it with another used one, just search the FS section. Its pretty cheap. If its used.

SO Last night I drove the FD and the check engine light flashed on again and went away...I know I cleared it and checked all the hose that is connected to the sensor and the IM and the hose was still connected.............Replace it????AND i did smell fuel under the hood....Could that be a cause?

same problem after replacing sensor
The same code came back after i replaced the sensor....after i replaced the sensor I did disconnect the battery and pushed the brake pedal. What else could be causing this same code???

It could be the ECU. I had a code for the fuel pump relay once and it ended up being the ECU, not the relay. If you can get your hands on a shop manual, you can check the continuity of the wires running to the ECU from the MAP sensor. If they are good, then see if you can locate another ECU to swap in.

The wiring in this car can see extreme heat, and when you start working on it you can create shorts and disconnects that will drive you stark raving mad later on. While replacing harnesses is costly and tedious, it is a huge step up in reliability.
