Adding a midpipe to the M2 you will have to control your boost somehow. Port out your wastegate or add a blocking plate into your exhaust are really the only ways it will be able to handle it.
I used an M2 for 6months running 14psi through a midpipe. I had a silencer in the exhaust which seemed to work well, but I'm sure I lost some power because of it.
Best thing you could do is buy a PFC and get rid of the M2. The M2 is a great unit, but very limited. I know the PFC was one of the bewst purchases I ever made, adn you would be able to run a midpipe with no extra mods.

i have teh m2 satege 3 ecu, dp mp and an intake, my boost pattern is 10-8-10 with the "home depot' boost controller that i installed. before the boost controoler, after installing the midpipe it spiked to 15 psi and then dropped to 13 and stayed there. to see the complete setup go here https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=115089

As long as you keep the boost creep or spike down, you will be fine. I ran an M2 ECU and midpipe for a long time without any problems. May not be a bad idea to upgrade your fuel pump.
Also run 9's all the way around for plugs.
A home Depot Boost Controller, and a ported wastegate or some pills will help keep the boost in check.

you can get 320 rwhp on a stock fuel system safely, past that it is recommneed that u need to upgrade your fuel system: injectors, fuel pump. if u controll your boost to 12 psi you wont need to upgrade the fuel. get a midpipe and run 12 psi. do the boost controller i posted earlier..i will garantee u will not see it spike start out slow...
