Twin Turbos and Power

Rotor men and Women............

How many horses can you make with the 99' spec turbos or even a pair of relitively stock ones, Pettit does the 99's and from what they say..........They kick ***.

well it depends....my friend has 120k mile stock twins (dimcorner on this board) with streeport, intake,dp,mp,cb,fmic,PFC tuned by Petit and 12-13 psi he makes 320 rwhp and i think like 280 rwtq...About the 99 spec turbos im not too sure...but honestly not many people seem to believe that they are truly worth the money (i think they are like $1500-2500 for the set)

I think with stock twins the most power you could squeez out would be about 340-350 rwhp on like 15 psi and 93 octane....And maybe not...Dont quote me ..But as we all here know (well most) over 13 psi on the stockers isnt the smartest thing to do...

Personally id go with a nice single turbo like a T04R,t3/t04 hybrid,Apexi-Rx6 or something to that nature....

with like 15 psi make in excess of 400 rwhp in a 2800 pound car Yikes!

the twin setups you are thinking of wont be much of a difference at all...

rikki got his 354 on the stockers at low boost levels

others have hit 380 or so at 17-18psi but their turbos are roasting and cooking like tinfoil in a microwave oven.

check out the m2 set and the checkpoint set and the bnr set...if you want to keep the lag minimal for autocross or other then the m2 set would be the way to go...if you want freeway power then go single SINGLE SINGLE!
