M2 Radiator!

I got some of these in and posted a couple of pics at http://66.216.67.51/product.asp?0=209&1=251&3=651

Its a direct drop in with no modifications. Very nice welds. Im going to install it on my car this weekend.

Jason, I have been waiting for these from M2! Do you still have them in stock? If so, I will order one today! Thanks.

The Koyo is the thickest. It does have some fitment issues. I think its 3 inches thick.

The M2 is 2 inches thick. It has nicer welds than both the fluidyne and Koyo and is a direct drop in.

I think the Fluidyne is 2 inches thick also.

If I go with FMIC, Koyo fitment will not be a issue, will it?

From what I understand the total coolant capacity is much greater than the stock radiator, plus more surface area for the coolant. I have seen the M2 installed and it is a great fit and looks good. It also mates well with the M2 medium SMIC. Also the fans set well on the M2 radiator. All reasons why I just bought one.

How would fitment be if you were to use this in the stock location and an M2 medium SMIC?

Fitment is drop-in with the M2 medium SMIC.

Will it work for Auto's

My friend had to special order an AWR because it was the only one that had connections for the transmission cooler. Does the M2 offer those connections?

If it didn't fit with the M2 IC that would be pretty sad wouldn't it? BTW I think the right numbers are: stock is 25mm (27mm for the series 8) (1"), Fluidyne is 38mm (1.5"), and Koyo is 52mm (2"). If the M2 is 2" (52mm) and drops in thats pretty good. It would be nice to see a comparo between the 3.

I just measured my still-new-in-box Koyo, and the thickness, as measured from the side, is 2.5 inches. The stock radiator seemed to be close to 1 inch. Jason shipped one of the new M2 radiators to me today, so I'll be able to compare it to the Koyo before picking one to install. I'll put the other one up for sale.

Whoops I double checked and the Koyo is 55mm, not 52mm.
