M2 performance parts?

I just wanted to know how long you people have waiting for anything brought from M2. From trailing links to turbos. Iam kinda wery of oredering anything from here even though I will probably order half my stuff from this place. I just dont want to wait 8 months for a clutch or anything for that matter. How is there in product wherehouse and back order times? I would just get up and call them but you know they will probably say "Yeah just order it its here" then when I do " ohhh we sold the last one the one you ordered is on back order but should be here in a week"(10 months later they have it).

Thank You In Advanced,
Jonas

I have a buddy that has been waiting forever for his carbon fiber intake. Something like 3 months or maybe more.

I ordered an M2 DP and got sick of waiting so I cancelled my order. Hopefully Petitt DP is on the way..... However, I'd be willing to bet that the worst backorders would be on the big sellers like the DP, intake, etc. They would probably have stuff like the intercooler in stock, but that is just a guess.

Good guess. He said his IC is waiting to go out when the intake is completed. I guess they can't make the stuff fast enough.

I waited for about a month for my CF intake. Well worth the wait. I am currently waiting for my IC, just starting my third week.

True

I waited 3 weeks for my trailing arms. A friend just got the exhaust for his WRX in 2 weeks, still waiting on his up-pipe though. They didn't charge either of us until they shipped it out.

m2

Quality of stuff I have got from M2 is good, but they are slow on delivery. A symptom of a small shop trying to do a lot with not enough people. It's tough to race, modify FDs, travel, make parts, service customers, contact sub-contractors for fabricated parts, etc, etc., when you would really like to race and modify FDs, but need the $$$ to race and modify FDs, so you travel, make parts, service customers, contact sub-contractors for fabricated parts....................and then you retire.
THEN you race and modify FDs!

I've just bought the new M2 harness bar/strut brace from Advanced Import Motorsports Tuning (Indy). The thing makes the OE rear strut brace look like a toothpick! I plan to use the M2 harness bar strutbrace to mount my Schroth 4-point harnesses to. As thick as the M2 strut brace is, I wonder if the rear stiffens up a bit from the sheerly overbuilt piece...anyhow worth the M2's $250 asking price. I was lucky that Advanced Import Motorsports Tuning had two in their inventory (whoo hoo!).

I never dealed with M2 directly, I got all my stuff from them through Ivan, but I heard from a lot of people that their customer service sucks and that they take forever to send out their parts. Furthermore, the build quality of their products leaves a lot to be desired.

I just saw my friends dp, mp and cb for his WRX today and I gotta say, those are the best looking parts I've ever seen. The welds are perfect and everything is show quality. Even the O2 housing is perfect!

It is the turbo back. Dp has flex-pipe in it, mp has a high-flo cat, and the dual tip cb all for $1050 is not bad at all.

Can't be in a rush with them

I have the toe links & trail arms and was told it would take at least a week and it took three but that includes ups ground, so not too bad.

They didn't respond well by e-mail but by phone they were good...when they answered.
