M2 Intercooler IC?

Anyone have a picture of the M2 intercoolers(medium or Large) not installed?

Also, what kind of mounting brackets do they come with and where do they mount to?

Thanks
Hoody

It sounds like they don't come with any mounting brackets.

(*Replacement of the stock air-box is required. Requires the use of Greddy Intake Elbow. Modifications are required if used in conjunction with an Efini Y-Pipe. Parts included are: (1) IC core, (1) IC duct, (2) polished aluminum IC pipes, (4) silicone couplers, (8) constant torque hose clamps.)

Directly from www.m2performace.com (where they also have a pic of the large SMIC not installed )

the intercooler rests on the cross-brace looking thing that the stock ic is mounted to. the only thing holding the ic in place is the duct and the ic pipes. . . kinda like a pressed fit. haha. it works. . . dont worry about a thing.

Even the stock IC doesn't have much movement when it's not screwed in.

Don't ask me how I know

that's crazy, I thought for sure it would have a screw or 10 holding it in.

Anyone have a picture of the intercoolers?

Thanks, but I was looking for pictures of the ICs not installed. A side by side picture of the large and medium would be perfect but I'd take them seperately as well.

Last time I had talked to M2, they said they weren't making the medium anymore, just the large. The time before that, they said they were redesigning the Medium and to wait for it. Now I heard through the forums that ASP is making them again and M2 lost/sold the rights back. JEEZ!!!

Sounds like the typical runaround bullshit that M2 is now well known for giving people who want to throw money at them. Go figure.

I seriously hope someone can get the nutsaq and build these IC's (and other stuff) right, for the right price, and deliver on time.

Yeah, I get the felling that they're trying to hide something every time I talk to them(probably they are). Poor business practices, good thing they sell wanted stuff.

To clear things up, M2 has lost the rights to sell that intercooler. I have had them on the shelf for months. Although I only have the large in stock now.

One of the front and one of the back would be great. To post a picture, just use the attach file feature after you click "Post Reply" button. Or, you can send it to me at Djhoody@hotmail.com

By the way, how old is yours?

Thanks
