It's not really the rwhp amount, it has to do with how much heat the turbos are producing. i.e. there is probably a lower limit with the stock twin turbos due to the amount of heat they generate as they go higher in boost verses using a more efficient single turbo.

i did search but nothing highly informative came up, my bad. anyways. right now i have 310 rwhp. heres the mods list.

Large Streetport
Mazdaspeed radiator
Mazdaspeed short shifter
Silicone vacuum hoses
M2 Intake
Greddy elbow, all hard pipes to stock intercooler
Bonez downpipe
High flow cat
Custom catback exhaust
PFC

This is all dynotuned at 10 psi.

As for a goal. Eventually i plan on either getting bnr's or going single. I am lookng for around 400 rwhp

To know for sure, you have to monitor your charge temps and see if they are 'ok' for the boost levels you are trying to run. That's the only way to know for sure. Having said that, I rarely see people needing anything but the popular intercoolers for their applications here on the forum.

IMO, I do not recommend FMIC's for road racing. While you can 'make them work', the cars I have seen with them still have higher cooling temps than ones with SMIC's or v-mounts. If you really want a FMIC for road racing, at least get one that doesn't block the entire front opening like a Blitz or Apexi FMIC. Those will at least allow you to duct some unobstructed air to the radiator.
