Low power and wooshing sound

Hi all.
My name is Adam and I am the proud owner of a 92 fd. Love it.

Problem is, it makes a loud whooshing sound at higher boost and rpm. Also at 4500 rpm up to about 6500 it seams to lack power but then after that it boosts hard and goes very well indeed. Could this just be a blocked cat? Please help

Boost leak, check all of the rubber couplers from the y-pipe to the throttle body, I bet there is a gapping hole there

All the inlet boost pipes are good. Should I check all the small vac pipes also?

You need to remove all of the rubber turbo pipes and inspect them throughly.

Do you have a boost gauge installed?
