Low oil pressure

Hello, My 7 seems to have perfect oil pressure in the morning or when its cold. However, when it warms up the gauge gets really twitchy. Under light throttle, the gauge goes to zero. When I floor it , the gauge goes all the way up over 100psi. Its been doing this for over 8 months now so I thought it may be time to fix it. Keep in mind that it like twitches from ok to zero in a milisecond!! thanks, mike

This is what mine does...so I bought an aftermarket oil pressure gauge. The stock one is innacurate.

kinda hard to explain where it is, its near your sparkplugs/fuel lines. I'll take a pic later of it if i can remember to do so.

Good luck

Mine does exactly the same thing.......... yanked mine, sanded it and sprayed it with contact cleaner and it still does the same thing.............putting in aftermarket gauges will hopefully do the trick............

Forgot to mention..........it's down below your plug area, on the drivers side of course, just look way down; I think it's the only "thingie" down there that looks like a sensor, ie has a wire coming out of it etc............vague enough?

There are two ,thingies , below the oil filter and abit foward, the larger (about 1-1/2 inches in dia ) is the one you wont ,it may have a rubber cover on it.The other senser beside it is about 1/2 inch in dia. Both have only one wire spade connectors.
