Here are some loud, but still decent sounding BOV's I think it is the same BOV in both movies, Greddy type-s possibibly. Im not sure though, maybe someone who has a better ear than I do can tell.

As much as I hate to even get into another BOV thread, those are definately Type S's, or sound just like the Type S. I have an old video of my 323 GTX and I played it back and it sounds EXACTLY the same and thats the BOV it had. I haven't gotten the 7 far enough into boost to really open it up loud, but it has the same basic sound at low boost as the 323 did.

I got a Type S on my FD... it's quieter then the stock bov... loosening the bov made little difference
dunno if i should delete the secondary BOV.. or plump them both into a "y splitter"
either way with the hood closed.. on the road, the BOV is barely audible... if u stand infront of the car with the hood open.. the bov will make ur shirt flutter... so it's working..
just quietly...
how much boost do u need to make this thing come alive?

well after having the turboxs rfl on my sti and it causing compression stall due to its inner spring not creating any tension on the shims. so if you like pulling out your spring all the time then the RFL is the loudest 106db at 3 ft away

personally...i like the Blitz BOV. it the best sounding, IMO. its just a traditional "WHOOOSH!" instead of a high pitched chirp of the GRreddy and HKS units. also, the Blitz is very funtional too, since there are BPU and better Supras running them with 20+ PSI and no problems.
but for really high boost applications, i like the HKS Racing, AKA the "turkey valve". i think it has the most unique sound out of them all. listen to any Audi or Porsche LeMans race car, and youll hear what im talking about.

Greddy has a tendecy of leaking at high boost..... heard that alot.. check the mr2forum.com had a couple of mr2s before anyways, HKS is Louder and best one on my opinion and if you don't want it to make too much of a woosh just make the top soft... so u wn't get that high pitch.. ohh and the higher the boost the louder it gets .. i was boosting 18psi on my lexus and (hks) damn that was loud..
opinion is like taste every 1 has a diff one... get it.
