Sounds like a boost leak. But if it only does it when the second turbo spools up, you may be able to track it down easier.

I'd say #2 or 3. I have air leaks out the *** and don't have any whistling noises but maybe it depends where the air leak is.

if it's leaking where a metal gasket is, it'll make some pretty fun noise. that's what happened to me

Is the door in the y-pipe opening to allow the secondary boost to come on with the primary boost? I would thisnk this would cause a whistling noise if it was only partially moving or perhaps barely opening at all.

Check the coupler that connects the y-pipe to the crossover tube. They are prone to cracking, and could make the noise you described. If it cracks, you would lose boost.

Mine cracked and didn't make any noises. However at the time my turbos were beyond fucked up so maybe that played a part in it.

Whistling around a metal gasket makes sense, not many on the intake side, would only take 5-10 minutes to check and tighten it all.

If it's a loud whistling/blowing sound and you have no secondary boost; most likely it's the CRV not closing.
