Ok perfect, I'll work on this. The reason why I had to adjust this up more is because my water temp sensor was in the way. I guess I'll have to point it directly down so it gets out of the way of the FPR and the temp sensor on the thermostat housing.

I ordered my fuel system kit from Sean at A-Spec. They are basically KG Parts primary and secondary fuel rails and I have ID725 primary injectors along with ID2000 secondary injectors. The lines were also from Sean at A-Spec. He pieced together everything other than the injectors.

maybe move the FPR so it's not right in the way? a little piece of iron from the parts store and a drill and you can make an extended mounting plate.

So I got the FPR and fuel hoses all sorted out.

I go to put my UIM on and hook up the sensor that is underneath the UIM and well, the engine harness doesn't fit the sensor.

I purchased this UIM already ceramic coated from a user on here and it looks as though the sensor is an aftermarket one. I looked at my old UIM and the sensors threading is A LOT smaller and the fitting is different.

Here are some pictures of the sensor and the threading. Is there a way to find a connection or how exactly am I going to get this to work? Is it an essential part? I'm pretty sure this is the air intake temp sensor.

Other than that, the car is basically back together! Just need to put the other IC piping on and hook up the vaccum hoses!

I can't believe the day is finally here to start the car again soon!

I found the pictures!
anyways, that doesn't look like the stock AIT, and yes that's the position, I'll take a look and get a few pictures of mine tomorrow when I'm out in the garage. I don't think that's an aftermarket UIM, just a cleaned up stock one.

No I know that it is a stock UIM, the hole has been modified to fit this aftermarket sensor though. Here are the pictures. The one with the ceramic coating is the modified UIM with an aftermarket sensor. My stock one is the non-ceramic coated and has the sensor that fits the wiring harness.

Looks like I found the aftermarket sensor

http://www.mazdatrix.com/haltechacc.htm

4th one down.

Is there any benefit of using the aftermarket compared to the stock sensor?

It looks like the aftermarket sensor has an open element, which should react faster and not heat soak like the stock one.

Went to one of my local rotary shops and the mechanic had a harness for the aftermarket AIT sensor that I have. Just need to splice the wires and add the sensor and I'm good.

Just need to find my O2 sensor and bleed the clutch a little more to hopefully fix my clutch problem having little force back and it's time to fill the car with fluids and turn the key!

if you can't find yours, I've got one sitting in my passenger bin, I've got no use for it.

Thank you for the offer but I think I'm just going to plug it and run it without it for break in. I have a AEM UEGO wideband that I haven't installed yet, so I'll just use that once I install all my gauges after the car is running well.
