Lost thread about octane and RON
I read a nice long thread a little while ago about octane levels and the Ron differences between here in the UK compared to what you guys use, it seems to have disappeared, i cant seem to find it anywhere.
I did a search but cant find it. If you know where it is, posted it or posted on it can you please link it here
Thanks

Here the thread you were talking about:
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/non-seq-stock-twins-16psi-741506/
The info is in the first 2 pages. However this is a much better thread on the topic:

Geff and Max down at Re:worx did the tuning. They have a Dyno-Dynamics Dyno, I think that's why the lower number (read that they will show about 40-50 hp lower than other dyno's).
Also was having issues with heat, still using a SMIC. I plan on getting A/I here soon, than their V-Mount in the fall.. should remedy that heat issue =)

Even so i cant see it being 40-50hp difference! Mines going to be on the dyno soon so will let you know how it goes. I know it should make 350 easy considering another guy made the same at RE-worx a few months back on BNRs.
Is your engine ported or stock?
Also if you want a bonnet...http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forum...ad.php?t=48824

I'm still running stock ports.
Thanks for the offer on the bonnet, can't say I'm terribly partial to that style though (I have my heart set on a FEED replica), that and I get paid in US dollars, so that's really expensive to me =P

Ahaaa...have you posted some pics up of your car i dont think i've seen it before. Have you made it to any of our events since you've been here? We have an event on this weekend at Donnington in Derbyshire if you can make it, it'l be good to feel how another BNR car is.
Unfortunately I'll be working this weekend =\
I tried to make the last FDUK Luncheon of the fall. However I took the wrong direction with me, so I ended up in downtown London, instead of the pub near Max's...
Live and learn, lol
I posted up some pictures from when I first got the car, nothing really since, she's seen a lot of changes, but the only visible ones would be the aftermarket wheels and bigger front brakes. I'm trying to keep her as low key (looking) as possible. For now at least...
