Loosing oomf after 7000 RPM

Mods are as follows: Pettit street port,Microtech 7, downpipe, midpipe, non sequential turbos running 10-11 psi, aluminum flywheel, air pump removed with waterpump underdrive pulleys. Injectors and the rest of the fuel system are stock. ecu records show a/f ratio is 11.5 to 12 throughout runs. The car pulls strong until I get around 6800 to 7000 rpm and then falls flat. Is this normal ?

I had your exact setup and loved the pettit motor. I did not notice a loss of power until 8300rpms in 1st gear one time at the track. Most other times I was shifting at 7500 and that felt like I had full power. I hear that pettit doesnt port the motors very extensively and stock motors lose power after 7200 at the latest so yours should hold power similar to the rest of the revs until 7500. 7500-8k it should still be pretty powerful but you may feel it starting to fade away

How the heck do you get up to 8300 in first gear? 1st gear in mine is almost unusable. By the time i hit 5000 the wheels are breaking loose and I have to let off and shift.

DRs and the best 1/4 mile track in florida/one of best in US

btw are you sure your clutch isnt slipping? My current fd has near 400rwhp and I can go all the way through 1st gear to over 7k rpms on the street...its when I shift into 2nd where the problems start with traction or wheelhop
