Looking for Part Number: MAP Filter

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a part number and am having a hard time finding it. The issue is that I don't have an FD, so I don't know what the part looks like, or where is sits which has made identifying it on the parts fiche a real pain.

I understand that the FD has a small filter that sits in the vacuum line from the MAP Sensor, and it's this little filter I need for my FC. Obviously the parts guy at the dealer looked at me like I had 3 heads, so I'd like to be able to take him the part number.

Anybody know what the part number is?

Thanks a million!

Nick

Va but he ships really fast, but to vancouver just call and ask worth a shot. He has a FD and knows then like the back of his hand and hes super helpful. Ill never buy parts from anywhere else again. Heres the number 888-533-3400 and ask for mazda parts then ask for ray.

Thanks. Like I said, I had the fiche but didn't know what I was looking for or even where on the car it would be, which made it almost impossible to find on the fiche.

Do you live in Vancouver BC or WA?

It it's BC, go see Reece at Wolfe Mazda on Boundary. He is my local guy for parts..

No offence to Ray, but for a $5 part why not just go locally? You're going to get it much faster... For big orders I'm sure he has the best prices, but for small things like this there is no reason to go through that big ordeal.

I'm in Vancouver BC - are you on BCR too?

I didn't actually get the part from Ray, I just wanted the part number so I could pick it up locally. My 6 was getting serviced at Wolfe Langley Mazda, so I just took the part number there and ordered it up - should be in on Monday. I'll remember Reece on Boundary for next time though - thanks!
