looking for an FD, more like.. looking for what to look for in an FD

wsup everyone,

im new to the forum, hope to enjoy my stay here.
yet ive been looking at rx-7s for quite a while. i really like the car, i think its definetly one of the best cars to come out of the land of the rising sun (im sure many of you do too) and im looking forward to purchasing one early november.

for maybe a year now, ive been researching the RX-7 among other cars i might want to get (S14, e36 m3) but ive decided that i want an FD Rx-7 . just yesterday i found an FC Rx-7 that i almost bought, but i decided to wait it out and get the 3rd Gen because it was a much more modern looking design.

anyhow, i have one month to research this car in depth and learn what to look for in purchasing this car, and what to expect after i own this car. im pretty sure i want one, now i would be really grateful if u all could help me out =P.

so anything, absolutely ANYTHING that is important at this point would be great. thanks ! i hope to be part of the rotary family soon !

if you rebuild the engine, or get a new engine, wont it be able to work as a daily driver ? what kind of problems to RX-7s run into ?

i recall there being a cooling problem because the designers tried to minimize weight on the car. so overheating, any other problems ?
