Water temp sender...
Are the sender for the stock temp guage and the sensor to turn the fans on the same thing? If not, where are each located?
If the stock temp guage sensor is different, I plan to pull it from the block and put my Cyberdyne sender in there and just let the stock one hang. But if they're the same, then the fans would no longer turn on like they should.

No, they are not the same sensors.
The stock temp gauge sensor is located below the oil filter.
The radiator fan thermoswitch is located on the back side where the thermostat housing attaches to the block.

the stock temp sensor is screwed into the engine block itself, just below oil filter.
there are two sensors on the back of the water pump housing, the bottom one is the sensor for the fans, and it is a total pain in the *** to get to
