Looking to buy RX7 3rd Gen......

If i want to keep it mod free (yeah right) will it be more reliable, or will i still have to put a ton of money into it?
I'm new to the RX7 scene, but i am in love with them. Thanks!

There are actually a series of mods known as "reliability mods" that make the car more reliable. They include, downpipe, remove/replace air seperation tank, silicon vacuum hoses, etc.

GoodfellaFD3S has outlined them here in the third gen archive. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...threadid=28002

Check out the rest of the archive too, theres tons of good info in there.

Is there a reason for the extremely high amount of 'I want an FD' posts lately?

I was wondering the same thing myself. I think we should find a suitable thread and create a "So you're thinking of buying an FD?" stickie. Or create one...

FeatherTheClutch,
Really the only advice that I can give you is to do as many reliability mods as you can.
