Look at these housings!

Wow so my fd blew and both housings were shot due to apex seal chatter. So i couldnt find any 3rd gen housings at the time, so i was going to go with t2 housings since they are the same except for the slight change in the surface compound. I called up a seller and asked for some and was told he had some very good t2 housings and they would be fine. So the next week the housings came and i open the package up and see 2 of the dirtiest housings, with n/a sleeves that have been cut with a torch to remove the divider. Luckily the housings werent warped at all due to the heat of the torch but here are some pics. Let me know how much you would have paid for these, i paid 400 and got sent these things. I figure they are worth 200-250 at most.

You're too kind. I'd be sending them back for a FULL refund. Plus if he refunds you $125, none of us will know who to steer clear of.

Well people Kevin Landers at Rotary Resserection has informed me i am getting no refund for these housings and there is nothing wrong with what he has sent me. So this makes you wonder what he puts in the engines he rebuilds for people. He told me im an ******* and dont know what im talking about, hmmm thats a way to talk to a customer of yours. Well just look at the pics and this shows the quality that rotary resserection supplies.

Hi kevin,
About a month ago i called you wanting housings for a 3rd gen and decided i would just run t2 housings. I asked you to send me the best housings you had for a t2 which would normally sell for 2 or 300 at most. I was very desperate to get my car running and was expecting nice mint housings to come to my house. Ive heard int he past from one of my friends who does rebuilds that you send clean good stuff at good prices. Insetad you sent me NA housings that looked like they had been outside for a year or 2 and had used a torch to make them look like turbo housings. Im very dissappointed with what you gave me. Now i had to have them cleaned and pay for turbo sleeves and installation of these. I posted pics of the housings not mentioning your name at all and not one person said i should keep them, response i got were send them back before this guy leaves the country with your money, and they look like ***. Im not going to send them back but im asking for some money back on these. $400 bucks for t2 housings should be almost brand new and clean, but instead i got dirty na housings. WHen you cut it with the torch your lucky they didnt warp at all and then they would be shot all together. I am expecting a refund of 125 dollars back atleast for these. Get back to me so we can resolve this so i dont have to put up a bad guy post because i would hate to do that.
Jeff

Here is what he told me, complete bs response. Why would i buy na hacked up housings for 400 knowingly. Here it is: PM:

You go right ahead and do what you've gotta do. I'm pretty busy at the moment. I've been gone all weekend and have a shitload of calls/emails/pms/posts to respond to, as well as some actual WORK to complete immediately. I will respond to you and your "thread" as soon as I get the chance, here in a few hours. IF you feel the need to stir up **** in my absence between now and then, well as I said do what you have to do.

I will say that I TOLD YOU I had NO turbo housings, they were all in lesser condition. I TOLD YOU that I could modify NA housings to work, and that the only difference was the exhaust port diffuser which I cut out. and I TOLD YOU that I had 2 such modded NA housings in my FD which currently makes 125-130psi compression. And you said you needed these asap and I TOLD YOU that I wouldnt have time to clean them, they were used and freshly removed from a core engine I'd gotten in a couple weeks prior. To all of this you agreed.

Those housings are in no way damaged or warped. The chrome surface on them is EXCELLENT with NO FLAKING. This is what actually matters to how the engine runs. Anyone building an engine should have the ability to clean a set of housings. I dont know why you expected them to come squeaky clean, you KNEW they were used housings.

I will NOT be giving any refund, full or partial. Those housings are 100% perfectly useable and will build an engine that should make 120-130psi compression depending on other build factors. They have essentially no wear on them.

I will be along to defend myself against any BS claims that you choose to make here shortly.

You know what? When people not knowledgeable in engine internal part condition such as yourself call me up wanting ME TO HELP THEM by selling some of my engine parts to them, I'm gonna tell them to **** off. I HATE this kind of bullshit. I do my best to describe what I have and what it'll do for them, and I STILL get bullshit. I DO NOT rip people off, there are hundreds or thousands of people that will vouch for this. Yet all it takes is one ******* to make it look like I do. Try to help people and look what you get.

EDIT:

nevermind you got to the answer before i posted

From that second pic the reason NO chrome has flaked off is that there is NO chrome TO flake off At least around where the torch was used
