Why didn't you try to disable the OMP and premix in your gas tank 1:1 ratio and start the vehicle? Sure it would throw an error code, but it would eliminate the OMP from the picture.

This would give you some ideas... I would think?

It's not the OMP. With the amt. of smoke coming out the tailpipe that OMP would have to be dumping MAJOR amt. of oil. The smoke is enough to cover up the entire front of my neighbor's house.

The car would also go into limp mode... and you couldn't drive it too much to see if the smoke stops.

Wow, thread back from the dead!

I'm surprised the original poster didn't fix the MAP sensor problem. With that giving a code, the car will run like CRAP, foul plugs out, smoke, you name it. That's a big deal - that's the PRIMARY input to the ECU for figuring out fuel!

IMHO most problems with people installing motors aren't the motors themselves but the TONS of crap that bolt onto the motors.
