Well, that wasn't my work..... It's someone I paid to do it, lol.

I'm stupid when it comes to automotive electrical. I don't know what "use a relay" even means. :/

Ok. Help me out here. If I were to get one of these painless kits

http://m.summitracing.com/parts/prf-70217/media

Would I just wire a 12v ignition source to it, then id have 7 new places to power things?

What this difference in this one besides $30?

thats a bit overkill for your application.

here is what renesisfd was saying to use. its a standard 12v 40amp relay that you can get from almost any auto parts store.
here is a pic from GENE FELBER ARCHIVE: RX-7 FUEL SYSTEM

Absolutely not sufficient. Get a decent relay, not the crappy generic ones they sell at autozone or pep boys. Napa sells a nice one with connector. Then wire it up per the above diagram. Use 10 gauge wire.

Standard generally means Bosch, which is really good.

Ok, I went and bought the relay that you suggested. So I'm standing here about to install and I started wondering if the painless kit still wouldn't be a better choice

I've got a supra pump in tank, an 044 in-line, and now an aem water meth kit in the hatch as well. For at least these 3 things, wouldn't the painless kit with many places to hook up to, really benefit me? Wouldn't it be a cleaner, better protected way to provide at least 3 good ignition 12v?
