Limp Mode

Right got a 93 rx7 but it keeps going into limp mode, grrrrr.
I can rev the car when in neutral but when i put the car in gear and start to drive it straight away jumps into limp mode. All the breather pipes are fine. Also gear change every now and then is a bit crap.
Any ideas?

Are you on the stock ECU? open it up, and take a look at it, to see if anything's "burnt". I had this problem awhile back... i kept resetting the ECU, but as soon as i start her up, the car goes back to limp mode. Took out the ECU, and saw sections of the board "burnt"... and i had to replace the thing.
