The day after I baought my fd, I crept up on soem boost(11.5lbs), in which I got out of it do to fuel cut at 10lbs. THen I noticed my chekc engine light was on, I couldn't boost more than 7 lbs and it retarded my igniion. I looked at it several times, pulling out the code, i think it was code 5, which is knock sensor. I then took it to the rx-7 store, they got the same code. They attempted to fix the issue, it would work, then moments latter, back in limp mode. Adventually, Jason from the 7store, opened a new pfc put it in my car and he said drive around, see if it fixes it. It sure did, i then purchased a pfc and have has 0 issues since then. My car was saying weak signal from knock. They replaced the knock, and jumped the hanes with a jumper wirre from the know straight to the pin on the ecu. ONce, installed pfc, knock is fine, it counts it.

"besides the solenoid valves"....
Didn't you install resistors in place of the solenoids? Doesn't sound like it. List ALL of the codes you are getting -- what you are so casually dismissing is the cause of your problem!

43 = wastegate control solenoid -- that is probably why you are getting the limp home mode.
If there were resistors in place, you wouldn't be getting codes.
EDIT: Actually, clear the codes by resetting the ecu, start it back up and see what codes are current.

Out of the bunch, that's probably the only one which would throw the car into limp mode.
Are you running a boost controller?
