Is this limp home mode i'm experiencing?

I can rev my car all the way to 7k rpm but i can't rev anywere if i push the pedal. I can build up boost slowly but not to 10 psi. If i push the pedal hard it cuts off immediately when i get boost.

Is this limp home mode?

tried searching and found one thread and i think he had the same problem.

disconnect the negative battery terminal, hold the brake down for 20secs, reconnect necgative battery terminal

if it goes away then you were in limp mode

if not, you have a reoccurring problem that you need to fix

is your check engine light on?

i'm having the exact same problem since i got my car back last night. as soon as i hit 4 lbs boost it falls on its face. i tried resetting the ecu - no luck.

my boost controller is turned off for break-in...could that have something to do with it maybe?

just an fyi - we think my problem may be caused by the fact that, in going non-seq, we removed the wastegate and turbo pre-control solenoids per the directions...but it seems they need to be attached, still.

** don't quote me on those solenoids - I "think" i have the right ones....

it was indeed limp home mode. now the car runs ok. Although i was too scared to floor it. It's been 6 months since i last drove it so i've forgotten how it was to drive . I get 10 psi immediately, it builds up so fast that i don't dare pushing it more, gonna wait til it's tuned and when the AEM is in there.

thanks for all help.
