leg room?

So been looking at getting a fd. Sat in one however and had to turn my head to the side for clearance (6'5"). Anyone else tall find a way to modify the car to fit. I could drop the seat rail about an inch, but I would need another 2-3" to be comfortable. Any ideas?

I am 6'5" as well. I run corbeau cr1 seats. That helped some, they have mounting brackets I may modify to be even more comfy. They are lots of aftermarket seats. www.memoryfab.com has some nice ones. A momo or aftermarket smaller diameter steering wheel helps as well. Dont expect to drive across states or anything though.

6'5. Holy ****.
I'm about 5"11. I already have trouble in my FD/FC. especially FC coz of the stock huge *** steering wheel. I have nardi on my FD, so it's ok now for me. Sometime I need to heel/toe the damn fc coz it has some gay idle problem during winter.

was it a sunroof model you sat in? the base/R1 R2 have no sunroof which also gives a couple inches of room too.

I really dont think there is a difference between r1/base. Just the roof is thicker on the sunroof models.

I have a sunroof in mine, and im 6'5" as well and dont have any problems with room. My head is close, but it's not touching the roof. I just angle the seat back as much as possible and I seem to fit; comfortably as well.

if you get a model without a sunroof you will have a lot more room and you will have to get a smaller steering wheel bc i am 6'2 and am cramped with the stock steering wheel.
