Hi there I'm about to pull my injectors due to a gas odor problem and I'm trying to decide whether or not I need new injectors or if I can just send my old ones to RC to have them cleaned. So the question I have is how would you go about verifying whether or not your injectors are bad or just need cleaning? thanks.

 

were the injector o-rings replaced during the rebuild? stock injectors are pretty expensive. if you want to order some stock ones give me a call.

 

sup Alex! How's your car running? I'm really not sure if the o-rings were replaced then, I probably need to ask Ivan. I'm still waiting for the PCV valve to arrive, maybe that will get rid of my idling-gas-odor problem?

 

well replace those o-rings anyways when you take them out. be careful taking the injectors out so as to not crack the plastic.

my car is running well. i'm almost at 900 miles and should hit 1000 by tomorrow night i just ordered some ccw wheels and some other brake and suspension bits. reza and i will be doing everything on friday during the day. taking out the roll bar too. it will be a totally different car soon!
