Leaking fuel
I recently got my exterior done and I went to crank it and a lot of gas is running down from the engine. The car doesnt start up no more because I assume its not getting any gas. Its on the passenger side under the TT. Would anyone know what it is? What I checked was all my electicals, fuel pump and sparkplugs (because it wasnt starting). When I crack it, its like 1 drop a sec.

Fuel Pulsation Dampener ... DO NOT start it ... when you turn the key to "ON" , the fuel pump comes on to prime the system ... get someone else to turn the key for you , and take a look under the UIM to see if that's where the leak is coming from ... could be a fuel line possibly , are you getting a pool of gas atop the motor ?? ... FIRE is your enemy , be smart

Is the fuel pulsation dampener a hard fix and how do I find another one? There is gas all over the floor because its drips out like crazy when I crank it. What I can see, is that its coming from a metal box but with the fuel there I couldnt get that close. I have 2 fire extingushers ready. Im sure you all have at least 1 in ur seven. TY for ur reply drift and fred.

It was linked here(https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=733468), and the mod's took it down because it is on another forum that is considered a competitor. I'm not going to get involved in all the political crap that has been going on over the last few months... I'm just looking to help the community. I'm also currently deployed to Afghanistan and I'm not looking to spend what little down time I have relocating a thread with a bunch of pictures and video's. That's why I say to PM me for the link, I'm not looking to ruffle feathers... just help owners.

I just took off the UIM. I've nvr worked on a rotary b4 and I dont know where to start lookin for the leak at. I dont want to get flamed about this so please dont, but i cracked it to see if I can see where its leaking from, but nothing leaks out now. I didnt notice that the lower intake manifold was spraying some fliuds ( I assume its gas). The engine made some popping noises but very little. I saw the FPD and i think it looked OK. It might be coming from the injectors but I dont know forsure. Anyone have any tips where to look? Its night time here so Im goin to take pictures in the morning of everything. If something serious happened when I cracked it, some info would be nice but please dont flame. Pretty stressed out from this. So much money into this machine and its still goin bad. Thanks memphisraines82, Mahjik, dgeesaman and again the people on top. I plan on changin the sparkplugs tonite

If your UIM is off, turn the key to the "on" position and look under the hood at everything fuel related. If fuel is leaking you will smell it and see it. Start with the fuel lines near the oil filter and then follow them up the line to the FPD and FPR. It could simply be a loose clamp. It could be more, but start there. Remember, that at the engine bay, the fuel is delivered into hard lines near the oil filter, then back into rubber lines over the engine to the FPD. So there are several opportunities for leaks before it gets to the important stuff. But everyone is right in that the FPD is notorious for fires in these cars.

hello, thank you everyone for being so helpful and not flaming. The leak was coming from the bottom of the turbo. one bolts came out and the gasket broke. While taking off the intake UIM I broke these little tubes that 4 vaccume line connected to. How can I fix that? They look like "injectors"

The location is on the passenger side, on top of the crossmember. I can see my downpiping going to the turbo and the leak is about 6" lower. there are about 5-6 bolts there that are 3/8 or 5/16 I dont recall. its very close to the passenger side fender wall on the bottom near the front wheel. Will gorilla glue work for these nipples?
