Koyo or Fluidyne?
I live in a very hot climate and cooling is the next step in building up my 7. Which aluminum radiator do you guys prefer?
Is there a difference in the two other than the price?
How is fitment with the A'PEXi intercooler?

haha, well im not one to tell you to go and search
go with the fluidyne, eventhough both radiators are very good. there are only 2 main differences between them. one is that the koyo is slightly thicker than the fluidyne (2.1" compared to 2"). and secondly the koyo has some fitment probs that require slight modification while the fluidyne drops right in. you weigh the pros and cons but i recommend the fluidyne. havent had a single prob with mine and temps drop very rapidly once the fans come one. very very rapidly

Even though the koyo has slight fitment problems, its ~$125 less then the fluidyne while being bigger (even though it is slightly).
Think about it. That $125 can get you some underdrive pulleys. Or you can get some Evans NPG to put in at the same time and have about $25 left for a tank of gas.

My uncles shop is right by the Fluidyne warehouse and I have never gone to check if you can buy them wholesale. I'll go check sometime this week and let you guys know if you can buy them directly from there.

You can buy directly from Fluidyne, but unless you are a dealer it costs a lot more. I called them when I was in a pinch to find one ASAP and they are fairly close to me, I was quoted something like $600.. insane. Luckily SP Engineering in Industry had one in stock for me.. you can get them for less than $500 if you shop around.

You can also get the Koyo for $375 or the Fluidyne for $429 from http://www.absoluteradiator.com.

I went with the Fluidyne, got it from for 400+ not bad at all, though i haven't noticed a change in my temp gauge, it likes to always sit at the half-way mark....
Any ideas? should it drop more? maybe not enough coolant? whats the deal? my car NEVER overheats though i can let it idle for 30min and no problems. needle won't move. so you guys tell me?! is there something wrong? or is everything ok?

The stock gauge probably won't show any difference. It only shows drastic changes, and you'll still be in operating temp range, so it won't show anything but the standard "everything is fine" level.

High Rev, I had lots of problems with my Apex front mount and a fluidyne rad. I had to get rid of the A/C condensor because the Apex brackets did not drop the condensor enough for the Fluidyne. But You can use the brackets and tap some new holes to make it fit.
