Of course they look similar to the Sparco rims Konig copied them.

Yet again Konig has caught another unsuspecting buyer.

they are knockoffs of the sparcos. thats why you only see konig rims on hondas.

yet another FD with a knockoff modification.

I think they are just another knock off, it's sucks that I am telling you this after you've purchased them, but the clear coat on them is crap, I would at the very least save you receipts or see if there is any warrenty info on them. How do I know???? I had/have a set, and I also knew a girl in a honda civic who had the same problem, that being a problem of the clearcoat flaking off.. Oh, and they are probably 7.5" wide, so you aren't going to be happy the way they fill up the rear wheel wells. Like I said I wish you would have posted something about thinking about buying them before you would have bought them, then I could have told you.

I've never known of sparco wheels either. But I did know about these.

It's the Kosei RT Maxi. $200 a piece for 17X7.5 in black. You can get them in custom colors. And they are available in 8.5 too. http://www.faswheels.com/products/wheels/rt_maxi.htm That's the only place I know to get them.

Those maxi rt's are sweet. I love the look of the darker painted ones. I hate the black but I like the gun metal look. What color is that exactly? Do you think that it would look good on a black FD?

I have the konigs and I have 18's , but I painted them black because the clearcoat was flaking and I didn't have any $$$ to buy new ones or get them fixed...

I had to ask a couple different times with different questions to find out. Apparently they don't have the ability to answer multiple questions at once. $199 a peice was for black, and I asked what that finish was at the sime time but they didn't answer me. So I asked again and they said it was the TSA finish. I don't know how much they cost though.
