a killer rotary in The SCC Ultimate Street Car Challenge..congrats to Gotham Racing
We just got here and thought I would post. We spend the past 21hrs driving from texas to Ca (riverside). Tomorrow is the photoshoot on some twisty road. After the photoshoot, we plan to tune the car on race gas to get ready for the dyno thursday. I still need to play around with the suspension to setup the way I like. Anybody in Riverside knows a big empty parking lot where I can do some skidpad testing without getting into trouble?

You can make substantial changes to spool and flow characteristics of any stand alone turbos cheaply by just swapping out different AR ratio exhaust housings. Tighter housing will give you faster response(spool) but worse high end flow(more backpressure). Buy a turbo that's appropriate to the your HP goal at a specific pressure and then mess around with exhaust housings to get the drivability you're looking for.
Back to the thread topic, again good luck Steve & Co.

My goal is to make 500HP to the wheels with 20B engine FD, my cousin and me have made a lot of research on it but it seems that it's going to be tough that's why right now my cousin and me are finding out more info. Basically the car will be sponsored by a friend of ours which is a mechanic that owns a motorsport in las vegas. Well from what i find out is u need to have a biggel fuel injector, fuel pump, apex power FC bigger turbo housing and turbo diameter upgraded ECU, rebuild motor upgraded 3MM apex seals, bigger throttle body for quick response at lower end torque, engine gasket, udpgraded LSD transmission, rotor housing, upgraded flywheel to a lighter one something like 9.0 lb. pulley kit form unaorthodox. But with all this is going to boost around 400 to 420 HP on a 15 PSI. Try to make a 500HP on 15 PSI. any suggestion? we're not in the hurry to do it as we're going to take our time to learn it especially when it comes about engine.

GO GOTHAM! I'm estimating a strong all around finish, and possibly a best at the track. If I went to the USCC I could care less about the gas/grandma tests so long as I won everything involving performance.
