It's true. They had to make the pulls in third gear, so the turbo didn't have as much load on it as was optimal. Also, they had problems on the first pull, so they only got to make one clean pull.

Sorry to hear about the loss. Congrats on competing, and showing that rotaries can hang. I'm sure you'll kill them with that 20B next year. If you do have to go with stickers, try to at least do something unique-maybe a new design for a Gotham Racing sticker. I'll be sure to vote for it next year when I get that issue.

the cym 3 rotor is gonna kick some *** this year. Steve kan, you should get the race logic traction control for the car, so you wont have such a traction problem while drag racing. It could be of help in the road course. Whip some ***!!

I had the opportunity to ride in Jasons FD down in FT. Worth...******* thing is SICK fast! It's pretty much not so much a cumfy street car anymore but more of a full out track car. i dont give a flyin foooook what SCC said...This FD rocks...I think if they had run down to PepBoys and picked up a handfull of stickers and stuck them on, they would have done much better.

I have heard rumors of a second 20b FD, a red one, entering the competition as well. Should be interesting

Why? It could pass emissions, be extremely quiet, keep the air conditioning and any other creature comforts, post a quicker time on the drag strip with a bottle in the back, and be infinitely drivable. Add in some stickers and a gigantic Transformer-brand rear wing, and it'd probably do just fine, assuming they didn't have some gigantic Transformer-sized fat guy doing the test driving.

Yea, MINE!!!!
http://www.msrecycling.com/projects/...FD-RX7-026.jpg
I am entering it for next years USCC!

As an X- straight line guy, and a current Track anf Drift freak this contest always pisses me off, this big HP cars running WAYY slower than should and lap times the same as stock Miata's with Hosiers!!!

I guess we will have to wait and see,

that and none of the RX-7 cult members will ever vote in a V8 FD!

Oh Well
