I heard thru the grapevine that they are in deep financial trouble and may not be around much longer.

I know a little about whats up at KDR, but deep financial trouble ? I am not sure about that Jason .

Hes got enough work at the shop to keep him busy for a few months. I know he just picked up another rotary tech but I think it was just Dave for a few weeks.

Thats just what some of their creditors say, but that is all I have heard.

I have seen plenty of shops go out of business that have tons of work. Its all in how you manage your money.

I hear ya Jason. Just cuz you can fix cars doesn't mean you can manage the cash that's coming in...

A friend of mine still brings his car up there often, Dave said he's revamping how he does business.

It's also funny, I didn't like Skip at all but my friend called to make an appointment a few weeks ago, then my friend called back the next day and Dave said that Skip had "retired". quick notice........

We have been so busy at points where it has taken me up to a week to return some people's calls. I wouldn't count anybody as 'ignoring you' or 'blowing you off' until you know for sure. I'd keep calling them.

Same here, I never had a problem with Skip. He was always nice and friendly with me. By the way, I just got off the phone with KDR about 10 minutes ago. Usually someone is there to answer the phones. As long as Dave is not busy, he usually returns calls after 3:00pm.

Brian Richards at M2/mostly mazda, was always busy, but that didn't save his business. He was a great guy to talk to when you could get him so I wonder what he's doing now?
