just a warning

yeah i just want to let all you guys out there know about a company that (if it is even that) ripped me off. i recently purchased an engine from a place called dirty south rotary, and he sent my engine to me, first off for a manual transmission(i have an automatic, obviously), but not only that it had a cracked rotor housing. so if that wasnt bad enough i have been trying to call him and get a hold of him for the past three weeks, i didnt take any drastic measures, in case he was on vacation. but now i am stuck with two bad engines and no car so make sure you guys dont deal with this guy later

Personally, I would never deal with a company called 'Dirty South Rotary'. But that's just me.

Call the Hidalgo County District Attorney's Office and file your complaint. They will investigate vigorously.

Visit the South RX7 Forum. There you will find at least 5 other fellow members that have been ripped off by the same shop.

how to solve your problem....

get at least 6 beer bottles
fill with kerosene
make nice long strips out of an old cotten T shirt
stuff a strip in each bottle, and let them soak
purchase zippo lighter
go to Dirty South....

but on the serious side, i remember reading more threads, saying some not so nice things about this place.

I've heard of that company before through here, do a search to see what you find. But on the brighter side of things if you are willing to sell either of those lemme know i might be interested in get another core soon.

You went to the wrong shop. Besides, I could have beaten his price AND service by a mile, and hundreds of people on this forum and others will vouch for me.

Brent built me a great engine but he still has my core money and my core as well. I see it as something he needs to take care of. He must be in real deep and can't think of building anymore engines until he pays up. I would be willing to contact the local D.A. if everyone effected contacts me and sends me some details. Don't send any sensitive information just black that out. My email is stdotjohn@***.net
