Just need some clarification on boost control...

I've heard some conflicting things and it's made me confused...

1) You cannot control boost from the PFC commander
2) You can control boost from PFC commander
3) You can only control boost with a PFC's add-on boost controller
4) You can control boost from PFC but only up to 1.1kg/cm^2
5) You can only change boost settings properly with a datalogit

Can someone clarify for me if my PFC commander can actually control my boost? I know there are two settings you can save. These are the settings I am planning to save:

1) Pr 0.85 kg/cm^2
Sc 0.80 kg/cm^2

2) Pr 1.05 kg/cm^2
Sc 1.00 kg/cm^2

The first setting for daily driving and the second setting for some spirited driving. Will this work for me or would I need to install a Greddy Profec to control my boost?

BTW, before I get slammed, these are my mods:

HKS TP
Greddy Elbow
Power FC with controller
Blitz SMIC with hard pipes
HKS SS intake
Megan DP
Megan MP
RB dual exhaust
Fluidyne radiator
R1 oil coolers
ACT light flywheel
Forum member's solenoid upgrade
99 spec y-pipe
Aluminum AST
850cc primary injectors
NipponDenso fuel pump
NGK 9s for leading and trailing
RB plug wires

I've also test my compression and it came out to 105s all around and my stock boost setting was good at 10-8-10 so everything is all good and ready to be tuned.

All I really wanna know is...can I change my boost with my PFC Commander and how reliable are the settings?

Thanks to all those that reply!

From what I've read, the PFC will control the boost well in many situations. But since you've got a midpipe, you will experience boost creep which is only solved by porting the wastegate.

Yeah, I've been running with a midpipe for a while now and I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that haven't experienced boost creeps or spikes yet (knock on wood). But thanks for the heads up!

Stupid question:
Is it possible to avoid boost creep due to the addition of a midpipe, by adding an external wastgate, with the stock turbos?
