Just my luck... Stupid question.

Putting new clamps on today and dropped a bolt down the Y-pipe. It's sitting on the far back pipe. My ? is do I have to pull the whole Y-pipe off or can I turn the car on and blow it out? If it doesn't blow out won't my turbos suck it back causing damage?

I would not turn it on until I got that bolt out. Thats not something to mess with. either take it apart which really doesnt take to long or get one of the extension magnets to get it out.

That's why its always good practice to shove a paper towel or a glove or something big into the hole if you take off your crosspipe. I usually use this when something like that happens.

Got to love rare earth magnets. FYI don't get it near any computer memory storage devices.
