HEY! ok just installed an hks downpipe and it went on great and alll but is it supposed to have a new grummble now without the precat? it sounds soooo ****** GOOOD!!!! but i have stock everything except the dp and intake! so thats normal right?!!

please jsut respond yes or no if you read this dont just pass it by!

 

It shouldn't sound much louder with the stock exhaust. If it significantly louder, I would guess you have an exhaust leak and need to fix it.

 

i put my downpipe in myself and it was my first mod, the rest of the car was stock and the only thing that sounded different was you could hear the turbos spool. the sound gave me a chubby but i wouldnt describe it as a growl.

 

Yeah all you should hear is your Turbos better. Not much else should change. The one I just got has a pre silencer though. I'm all about the stock sound.

 

shouldnt be any loader really as posted above....
dude make sure u know what u are doing mod wise before u just go bolting stuff on.......**up grade your fuel system.......and get a boost gauge if u dont have one.

 

all ive done is intake and the pipe thanks guys im pretty sure its a small leak but it sounds sick!

 

exhaust leaks don't sound cool... Please pay attention(and do research) before modding....
