Just installed catback..question

I know the boost will spike with K&N, dp, and RB catback. My question is before I get a boost controller, can I drive it at all and be safe until I get a bc? Like drive it and not give it too much gas? I also have a power fc to be installed. I know this has been beat to death but this is my specific question. thanks, rick

I would drive it and watch the boost carefully as you pass by 4500. First do it with about 3lb of boost, then 6lb, then 9lb, then WOT. If you don't get a spike, and the weather is cool, you can quit worrying about it.

If it spikes, you can play it safe and disconnect the electrical connectors from your wastegate and precontrol solenoids. That should keep you from seeing spikes.
